Polar bears -- and the effects of global warming -- are showing up in home accessories, thanks to eco-conscious designers. Case in point: A rug featuring a solitary (and pop-up!) bear on a lone ice cap at sea. The rug is designed by the NEL collective, and can be viewed at Nanimarquina. As much as we like the rug, the awful truth is that poor polar bear would soon be
squashed underfoot extinct in our home.
