The Pantone Universe continues to expand, but these birch stools seem to be a hold-over from a few years back. They were originally made as limited editions to showcase the Pantone color system at the 2005 ICFF. Designer Barber Osgerby created by hand-laminating and lacquering the birch plywood veneer. The Pantone number was silk-screened on to get their trademark look.
The stools come in several shades (a few more than we've shown here) of yellow, orange and pink. Pretty cute, if you can spring for one.
