The nutty contraption shown above is a lamp, and while it's not quite our style, it made us realize how many wire designs we've seen lately. Wire pieces have such a strong structural presence, which creates negative space and optical illusions. They invariably add a lot of movement and dynamism to a room.
Wire is also extremely versatile, with styles that evoke vintage French country to super-industrial chic. And, as any mid-century modern fan will tell you, gorgeous wire furniture styles are American classics.
