Nook: Skyline Fireplace Screens

Skyline Fireplace Screens

We've always had a thing for urban skylines, so these fireplace screens instantly caught our eye. These skyline screens - made by Milan design group gspot -- use laser cut steel to feature London and Rome. Each was intentionally chosen because of a Great Fires in its history. We have to wonder if Chicago and San Francisco are next on their list. Although we're not crazy about the tragic undertones, we do like the idea of using dramatic skyline silhouettes in such a unique way.

Fireplace accessories have come along way. These screens are a nice feature when the fire dies out as well. I like how they came up with the design concept of previous cities that caught fire. Pretty eye-catching.Publisher,familyfirepit.com
