We're big fans of Angela Adams' designs, so it's a treat to see that she's just introduced tote bags to take her modern-organic style on the go. These linen bags come in two of her well-known patterns, Sprout and Munjoy. Nice, aren't they?

Numbered Spice Jars at Anthopologie

Breadbox, our kitchen goods counterpart, found these great earthenware spice jars with bold Euro-feel numbers.
As they noted, they would also work as a chic way to stash craft supplies, barrettes and hair-bands, paper clips and all kinds of other things that would fit in a 2-1/2-ish inch container.

Vintage-y NYC Posters by Jim Datz

We're completely smitten with these original posters by artist Jim Datz, which are designed as part of a collaboration with the fun, online store, Three Potato Four.
They described the posters as combining a few of their (and our) favorite things: Manhattan/Brooklyn, typography, color, 50's inspired illustrations and urban signage. So far, they've got these two in a series of city prints to come. We can't wait to see the rest.

Simplified: The Deconstructred Clock
The modern clock -- actually, the post-modern clock -- has been pared down, hollowed out, chopped up and/or re-arranged. And after all that abuse, it turns out that the outcome is not bad at all. Below, some looks we like:

Analog Nights Pillows from Aimee Wilder
Remember the days before digital downloads? NYC designer Aimee Wilder used that cassette-filled era as the inspiration for this cool pillow print called Analog Nights.
We love the graphic impact of the pattern. It kinda makes us wonder what happened to all those mixed tapes from our pre-iTunes days. The pillows are available in Pacific blue, steel gray and brown. Nice.

Kartell's Take and Bougie Lamps

Kartell's translucent table lamps let us see their famous Ghost chair concept in a whole new, err.. light. [Ed. note: Our apologies. Sometimes we resort to puns.]
The Take table lamp is, as our sister site Opaline puts it, small, hip, colorful and downright adorable for such a modern look. We like the play on 2-D/3-D.
Like the Ghost chair, the Bougie re-invents and totally modernizes a classic, baroque shape. It comes in three sizes and shades including gold, silver, smoke and clear/gilded gold.

Re-Vive Insta-Table Legs

Here is a simple concept for tables that demonstrates just how smart and sustainable good design can be. These Re-vive clamps quickly attach to glass, wood, books, surfboards or any other rigid surface -- to create an instant table.
The legs are shipped without a surface, encouraging people to re-purpose something that might otherwise get tossed. Cohda, the UK designers have set up a gallery showcasing the many ways to use the legs.
Imagine the possibilities. Instant bar + snack table for a party. Instant table for a Scrabble marathon. Instant desk during crunch time. Instant kiddie table at Thanksgiving. The list goes on....
If Re-vive legs work as claimed, we predict they'll become a mainstay in cramped quarters everywhere. Available Aug. 3.

Cloud Paper Sofa

Our sister site, Opaline, just discovered this amazing couch, and we had pass it along.
The prototype of this gorgeous Cloud Paper sofa, by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka is made from artistically rendered paper.
It was a star at the Milan Furniture Fair, 2009. In fact, Italian furniture company Moroso immediately started to make fabric versions, which should be available soon. The texture will be similar to the creased paper.
May we suggest a name? The Cloud 9 Paper sofa.
