Nook: Dear Diary 1.0 by Marlies Romberg

Dear Diary 1.0 by Marlies Romberg

Spotted this amazing desk/desktop computer this morning on Bloesem [originally via Moco Loco] and had to pass it along. I love the concept, which comes from designer Marlies Romberg, who sought to create a literal translation of the way that digital and personal worlds are colliding.

In theory -- and as realized -- this is a brilliant bit of furniture. In practice, some of us have a little problem keeping crumbs and what-not from messing up a perfectly fine keyboard. Romberg also created the TopSecret USB port, which protects personal correspondence with a tried-and-true method: a wax seal.
