A vertical living wall does not look it'd be an easy DIY project. But the tutorial at Sunset Magazine makes it look pretty do-able. And it's even faster if you start with a special preassembled frame or a kit. Best of all, if your thumb isn't even remotely green, you can buy planted frames that look just like the pic shown above.
